The competitions finished at around 4.30pm. In previous years most of us, at this point, have gone off in various directions to grab a meal somewhere and fill in the couple of hours or so before the recital to be given that evening by Scott Drummond and Chris Armstrong. This year was different with a fine hot dinner laid on at the Ukrainian Centre for anyone who wanted to stay. (For a report on the recital, see the "Recitals" section).
