As usual this was a confined contest, but for the first time we had pipers from outside the branch taking part as guests for comments sheets only. We had three taking part from the West Midlands Police.
 
 
Jim Dillon did another fine job introducing all the competitors with Chris Eyre and Ken Thacker stewarding in the background to keep the flow of players moving smoothly.
 
 
Our thanks go also to Cameron Edgar, our adjudicator for all the Juvenile and Open events, and to Owen Nash, who judged the Novice Chanter section.
